7 Habits That Shape the Way I Live
The Glowgevity® Home Ritual Habits That Shape the Way I Live By Michelle Peters At Michelle Peters Skincare, we believe longevity does not begin with a product. It begins with the way we live each day. Over time, I have learned that wellbeing is built through small daily habits. The air we breathe, the purity of our home, and the environment we create deeply influence our health and how we feel. These are some of the simple rituals that shape the way I live and reflect the philosophy of Glowgevity®. 1. Opening the Windows Every Morning One of my favorite rituals is opening the windows at the beginning of the day. Even in winter, a few minutes of fresh air can completely transform the atmosphere of a home. Renewing indoor air helps reduce the accumulation of microscopic particles that naturally build up in enclosed spaces. It is a simple and natural way to begin the day with clarity. 2. Keeping the Outside Outside In our home, we have the habit of leaving shoes at the entrance. Shoes carry dust, bacteria, pollen, and urban pollutants from the outside into the home. Avoiding bringing them inside helps preserve a cleaner and more balanced indoor environment. It is a small gesture that reflects respect for the space where we live. 3. Maintaining Humidity Balance Balance is essential for a healthy home. An environment that is too dry can affect respiratory comfort and skin health, while excess humidity may encourage the development of mold. Maintaining balanced humidity levels — ideally between 40% and 60% — helps create a more comfortable and healthier environment. 4. Purifying the Air at Home During certain times of the year, especially in cities or during allergy seasons, using an air purifier with a HEPA filter can be very helpful. These high-efficiency filtration systems are designed to capture up to 99% of microscopic particles such as dust, pollen, and other pollutants that can accumulate in indoor air. It is a quiet yet highly effective way to improve the quality of the home environment. 5. Keeping Textiles Fresh Curtains, rugs, cushions, and bedding naturally accumulate invisible particles over time. Washing them regularly helps maintain cleaner indoor air and keeps the home feeling lighter and more harmonious. 6. Cleaning Dust Mindfully Household dust contains far more than simple particles. For this reason, I prefer cleaning surfaces with slightly damp cloths, which help capture dust instead of dispersing it back into the air. 7. Caring for Our Pets Pets are part of the life of a home, but they can also release hair and small particles into the environment. Brushing them regularly and keeping them clean helps reduce the accumulation of dander and hair in indoor air. The Glowgevity® Perspective Longevity is not built through grand gestures. It is built through small decisions repeated every day. A clean home, fresh air, balance, and awareness create the perfect environment for wellbeing. Glowgevity® is not only skincare. It is a way of living. Final Thought True longevity begins with the way we live every day. With intention 💚
